Itineraries
Castelli Aperti covers around 90 buildings from different historical periods and in different architectural styles. This allows visitors to construct various itineraries based on their own interests.
Visitors can choose from local routes that wind through the three provinces and take in the buildings in the Saluzzo area, the Alta Langa, the Mondovì area, the Cuneo area, the Stura valley, the Cuneo Langa, the Asti Langa, the Roero, the Monferrato Casalese, the Alto Monferrato, the Basso Monferrato and the Alessandria area.
Equally interesting are the themed itineraries based on a period or a style, like Romanesque, Baroque or Napoleonic, or routes that follow the Marquisate’s castles, the royal Savoy residences or the castles with the most beautiful parks and gardens.
Occasionally custom-designed itineraries will be suggested here, giving visitors the chance to discover the history and culture of southern Piedmont in greater depth, and allowing them to make the most of the opportunities offered by Castelli Aperti.
